When people talk to me about how I should be putting money away for my little one to go to college they don’t like what I tell them next. How I feel is that me, and hubby don’t make a whole lot of money, and it’s not going to benefit us, so why should we pay? Yes I do want her to get a good paying job, and a good education too, but with so many college student loans out there she could pay for it herself. Yes if I win the lottery, and become rich overnight I will put it aside for her then, but until that happens she can work for it. I still don’t know why they get upset. it’s not like I don’t want what’s best for her. I just don’t have the money, and it helps her in life not me.
