When I get the mail I usually throw away any garbage sales, or promotional stuff that comes when it involves a car.  Last week I opened up the mail and found a letter from KIA stating they wanted to purchase my 2007 KIA Sorento LX from me.  I showed it to hubby.  I only figured the promotion that was in the letter was possibly a good one.  He looked it over, and within a few minutes advised me to get my shoes on and ready to go.  He said we were going to the KIA dealership to see just how true the deal was.  We owed a total of @$6000 dollars over the next 2 years on the car.  The warranty had also since run out.

We got to the dealership and being that they were a newer dealership didn’t have a drastic amount of the car we were looking for.  We went there looking for a Sportage.  This was figured in prior to going because the Sorento cost a lot more than we wanted to spend.  They showed us a Demo vehicle, and advised that they would drop the price as far down to where the NEW LX model was priced.  We told them we wanted to have 5 years payments.  I drove the car around the lot, but not much more.

Because I wanted to think about it we advised them that we needed the night.  We went the next day and got the car, and signed the paperwork.  Later that night I gave hubby a panic attack because I told him that I didn’t know if I wanted the car because I thought that I couldn’t see what I thought I should be seeing.  He said that he would return the car under remorse.  I told him that I didn’t want him to return it, and I would get used to it.

He told me the next morning to drive him to one of the jobs he needed to do so that I could try the car out once again before making any decisions.  After driving the car I found that it was mostly in my head.  The car is beautiful.  It has a Sirius/XM satellite system built in, Bluetooth connectivity, IPod connectivity, a rather large cd storage area, and a lot of other things.  I don’t like the keys because it is one of those key fob folding keys.

I love what my hubby does for me.  I love my hubby.  He is the best.  I owe him… BIG!
