The other day our neighbor, and good friend came over for coffee. He was telling us how while he was in Indiana visiting family he was told about some cheap property, and he decided to look into some Fort Wayne homes for sale. He is thinking of selling his home, and moving because it’s just getting to be too much for him here. He told us how not only are there lots of businesses to help in finding good jobs, but there are lots of nice neighborhoods there. He also told us how the cost of living is lower than where we live. We hope they change their mind because it’s not always easy to find good neighbors, and we get along with him, and his family so well.
How do you feel about your neighbors, and would you care if they moved away?

I really like one of my neighbors and would be sad if she moved, but other than her I am sad to say I would not really care. I grew up with wonderful neighbors as a child and really miss the closeness it can bring.

I don’t mean to pry into your conversation, but I am a Fort Wayne Realtor and would like to offer my services. I have lived in Fort Wayne Indiana my entire life and know the area extremely well. Fort Wayne’s cost of living is extremely low and the average home value is only $95,000. Mix in that we are conviniently only 2hrs from Indianapolis, 3hrs from Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and Cincinnati. There are several recruiters that can help your neighbor with job placement. Fort Wayne is growing and there is high demand in the area for health care workers, IT professinals and engineers. Of course other fields are hiring as well, but these 3 fields are among those growing at the fastest rate. The north and sw side of Fort Wayne (zip codes 46845, 46804 & 46814) offers the best schools and some of the most expensive real estate in the area. Depending upon what they are looking for in a home, rather is be a historic neighborhood or newer construction; Fort Wayne has it all. From the beautiful historic southwood park and forest park neighborhoods, to the popular newer construction bridewater addition located on the SW side of Fort Wayne.
