Now that I’ve been dieting for a while I wanted to make it a little easier for me at dinner.  I’ve been making my meals ahead of time so that I don’t have to make two meals at once.  Prebaking is is much easier, but it doesn’t help at times when I forget to prebake my food.  Prebaking takes up even more time, and the cost is comparible to other things.

So about two weeks ago when I was out shopping I saw that they had the Lean Cuisine on sale, so I checked it out.  The food looked good, and the price wasn’t bad.  They were 5 for $10.00.  I thought they would be good to try, and good to have if I ran out of my premade foods, or even for a quick lunch because the calories were not bad.

Well, two days ago I had one for dinner, and it was filling, and to my surprise I liked it.  It was not bland like what I would make for my meals.  It tasted like I went to a restaurant to eat.  The box had a lot of usefull information on it.  This took a lot of the guess work out for me, and made cooking for my family a lot easier than it was before.  Next time they are on sale I will have  to get some more.  They were very handy to have,  and still very tasty.

I try to stock sale items with coupons especially doubled ones in my cabinets or freezer. Then I plan everyone’s meals accordingly.
