With the economy in the tank people are losing their homes very easily. Homes are very inexpensive in comparison to if a house was sold full value. We found this out one year when we went to Florida and decided to look at the housing market. There is no safe place in the U.S. when it comes to foreclosures. I don’t know if there is such a thing as a timeshare forclosure, but the Carolinas have a what seems like a large foreclosure rate. You can see listings at many sites similar to OBX foreclosures.
I don’t think that I would be able to leave what I have worked so hard for at this point. If I was forced out it would be one thing, but purchasing just to get a bigger home is out of the question for us.
How do you feel about this?

The problem is that most housing costs relate to the arfea’s income and economy. If you aren’t making as much, you can’t spend as much.
