One of my favorite memories is from when I was a little kid. It was when my mom’s boyfriend that smoked cigars would give me the plastic tubes that they came in to play with. The best part was that they were in a box, and this made the whole thing better because I would use the boxes for crayons, and things. This always made me feel so special because out of us five kids I was the only one that he gave them to. Currently I use the cigar boxes I have had for storing crayons, and such because I don’t have access to getting them anymore. Now I know some people don’t like the smell of cigars, but everytime I go somewhere, and see them, or smell one it brings me back to my childhood, and how happy, and special he made me feel. I must say I don’t know if it wasn’t for that how I would actually feel about cigars today.

I wasn’t given any cigar boxes as a kid but the smell of cigars does bring me back to my childhood. My Uncle smoked them and it brings me back

I am not fond of cigars because when I was pregnant it seemed that every cigar smokin person was in my path.
I did have a run in with someone who was smoking a stanky cigar. It was at a work dinner function and he became very rude and cursed when I asked him nicely to refrain from smokin until the dinner hour was over. He was sitting about 10 feet from me and the smell was wafting at me while trying to eat my dinner and being 6mos pregnant.
At that time smoking was optional as long as no one complained.
Well, I guess I ruined his day!!

I like the smell of some cigars, too. They have sort of a warm, sweet smell.
