One of our favorite reality T.V. shows is kitchen nightmares. After watching that show it makes us think twice about eating out in our area. I just love when the very good looking chef Gordon Ramsay shows up at theses sometime run down restaurants and the owners say they don’t see why they are not making any money. That’s when the fun comes in. It is usually when he goes off about how they have lousy poor quality food, and service, or even broken down restaurant equipment. Some of these restaurants really are nightmares but in the end he goes all out doing things like fixing the place up, or even getting new equipment for them. A few times he even had a better chef come and help them cook after getting rid of the one that couldn’t. The one thing that I don’t understand is how after he does all this some of them still end up losing everything from either too much debt or going back to their old ways. The debt part I can fully understand with our economy, but why waste the mans time if your going to go back to your old ways?

Over the past few months I’ve been thinking more about joining a gym, and hubby even said he might like to try it with me. When I told this to one of my friends that goes to the gym she thought that it was sweet of him. Like I told her sometimes we do things to get away from our other halves even if its one hour… it’s time to myself. After explaining this to her she told me that I should try doing something like dancing zumba. She said that she goes once a week and has a blast and that I could still do the gym thing with hubby so he doesn’t get hurt feelings about it. Now this sounds like a great plan but one I’m kind of lazy and if I go to the gym that’s a lot for me already. Second I can’t dance. I would look like a big fool. I would laugh at me if I saw me dancing. For now I think I’ll stick to looking for a good gym and if hubby joins that’s fine too. We don’t always have to go together.

We just got back from the new Disney cruise and even though the food was not the greatest food I’ve ever had on a Disney cruise there was a lot of it and it was good. It was so good that even the best fat burners wouldn’t have helped us with our gaining of weight. One time after overhearing me say this to hubby the little one made me laugh. When she saw a person jogging by us she said mom you know they’re going to be mad when they find out they did all that work and still gained weight from the food on the ship.

We never even saw a single sign for the exercise room, and we had promised each other that we were going to at least try to do some exercising while on the ship to help out with loosing some of the extra weight we were gaining.

We will be going on the Disney cruise in a little over a month and for the last past 4 months I’ve been trying to lose the few extra pounds that I put on. I’ve been doing nothing other than going down and back up, and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve been so nuts that I’ve been thinking more and more about taking a diet pill. This is because I think the fact that I have a harder time losing it and keeping it off right now is because I know when we go on the cruise that I will just be putting it back on. I told hubby how I feel about this, and asked him what he thought about these hgh pills that I found on the web. If I should try them I must say I really feel lucky because I have a good man, and he told me how he wants to lose weight before the cruise and he will work at it with me. He also said that when we get back he will lose weight with me so no matter how much we lose or put back on he will be right by my side. He feels it will help motivate me to do better and by doing this he will also be helping himself. Who knows maybe if we have the money when we get back we can join a gym together.

I remember when they first came out with the diet pill alli I saw an ad with a website address to go to find out more. So I did because I was really interested in losing weight and wanted to know if it was as good as they said it was. Now even though at the time it was out for only six months almost everyone that had written something about it said that they lost weight. There was one side effect that made me not want to use it, and that was if you ate the wrong food you would get cramps and have a lose stool. Because of this it made me ask the question.. does alli work, or were people sticking to their diet because of the side effects If they didn’t. So why pay a high price for something that I could do on my own? I will say that I didn’t lose weight as fast as some of them said they were, but in the end I’m happy how I did it. I did it all natural. I also realized that I not only have the will power to do it on my own, but having the support of others also helped me a lot.

For the past month a good friend and I have been dieting together to help each other lose weight. Now this past week I didn’t see her so I called her to ask if she gave up on me. She told me about a diet pill her co-worker is taking called Adapexin and how she lost a lot of weight with it. Next thing she told me was that she picked some up about two weeks ago and lost some weight using it. So I told her that’s fine if that’s how she wants to lose weight. I’m not mad. I thought I did something wrong to offend her. She thought I would get upset if she wasn’t dieting with me so she stayed away. I told her that I’m not mad at her if it works for her. I’m happy for her. I just hope that she still wants to go for walks with me because I like the company. Why do people think that they have to do things the same way for it to work?

Right after the New Year my neighbor came over and was talking to me about losing weight. She told me she wanted some advice on a diet pill that she heard about called Apidexin. So in joking around I said did you see the word DR. in front of my name? Why are you asking me about this? She wanted advice since I lost a lot of weight. Well, I gave her the truth. I told her that I did it by diet and exercise. Yes, it’s hard but works and I didn’t waste any money doing it this way. I also told her that anytime she wants I will work out with her. Everyone seems to say that it’s better to have a person to work out with so you can motivate each other. I haven’t seen her since. Who knows maybe she went with taking the diet pill and doesn’t need to work out. I’ll know this summer if I see her running around in a bikini. This will be a little upsetting, but at the same token I don’t want to wear a bikini.

Now that hubby wants to lose a few pounds before we go away he has been getting even more strict with me about how we need to exercise. Now there’s nothing wrong with this except it seems like this winter I’m very lazy, and I don’t want to anything. He said I should look up things that people do to give them more energy. As if like there’s a wand that I could wave. He dose try to be helpful, and I will give him that. So I went online and was looking at diet pill reviews like the one I ran into about testoripped reviews. It’s a diet pill that’s been out for a few years and its low on price and I read that people said it gave them the energy that they needed. When I read about it they claim it helps build muscles and reduce fat by increasing muscle mass. I will say this worried me because I don’t want to be buff, I just want to tone up. The reviews I read also said that it helped tone their body with a proper diet, and exercise. They have a customer service email that responds back fast when you have a question, and the price is not bad. Who knows maybe hubby will want to try it also. All I wanted to find was a simple way to feel more energetic. I guess it isn’t easy to find things that you want to find.

The other day I got an email about a diet pill called phenphedrine. It told how it was the #1 weight loss pill out on the market. So I thought why not check it out. Well I really couldn’t believe what they said about it to begin with. They were very honest and told you how it came from one of two plants in the cannabinaceaea family and how the other plant is marijuana. They also say that because of this they are trying to take it off the market. So after reading their ad I just had to read the phenphedrine reviews. It seemed like they were very honest reviews. Lots of people said that they lost weight, but not as fast as they say you will. But they all say they were happy and would be buying more. After what I read I can see why they were happy, but happy at a price. I think I will stick to my diet and walking because it’s a lot cheaper for me right now. So I ask if a company ad is better if they are a little honest or is this a way to cover themselves from a lawsuit?

This past week when I was looking at weight loss stuff in the store a nice lady asked me if I ever used any of it and does it work. I told her that I never used it but I did read some good weight loss stories from people that say it worked. While I don’t believe everything that I read I sometimes listen to what they say, and find out if I was a fool for doing so. She just smiled and told me how she never will read weight loss success stories most of the time because they are not always true. She continued that how if what she got didn’t work it would make her feel worse about herself for believing it would. Now I never looked at it this way but I do know most of the time what I read in the magazine might not be true. It never made me feel bad because it was a chance I knew I was taking. I also don’t see how reading success stories and asking someone their results is any different.

Each time when I was looking into taking any kind of diet supplements to help me out while on my diet I started to wonder how safe they actually were. I mean just like diet pills they have all kinds of supplements that you can take, and some even state that they are all natural. Is there any truth when they say safe diet supplements? This worries me because of all the bad things that you hear years later about all kinds of medicines that they also once said were safe. I mean part of losing weight is not just to look good but to also be healthier too. So how can I do this if I’m taking something that might make a person sick down the road.

I went out tonight to a friend’s X-Mas party. It was really nice to get out for a little bit. When I was outside smoking I was talking to a lady that I had never met before about losing weight. She told me that she had seen photos of how I used to look, and how since I lost the weight I look really good now. She asked me how I did it and when I told her that it was just diet and exercise she went on to tell me that she lost 10 pounds this past month the very same way. She said a few months back she wanted to lose 35 pounds by Christmas so she got some cheap diet pills. She heard they worked well but she had a reaction to them because she was putting on weight rather than losing any until she stopped taking them. So through watching what she ate and exercise she lost 10 pounds so far. Now I don’t know how true this is because I just met her tonight. But I will say that I never heard of anyone gaining weight while taking a diet pill but I have heard of not losing any weight instead.

When I learned that having more protein is good for you when it comes to weight loss I thought that this wasn’t true. After keeping a food log and having to write how much water, calories and protein I had in a day I realized that I was not even close on the correct protein amounts. Maybe this is why my weight loss slowed down. I was a little puzzled not knowing which way to go with this because by upping my protein would also up my calorie levels too. Someone told me to try a protein supplement that’s low in calories. After looking around at some of the best weight loss supplements around my area I found one that you just add to your food and its only 10 calories for every 5 grams of protein. Now this was fine but it did make my food a little chalky tasting but my food was so bland anyway so you could say that it was an improvement in a way. I don’t know for sure if it helped with my weight loss because I have not lost anything in the past few months, but I also have not used any of it. This is because it was a little pricey and right now we are trying to watch our pennies. As soon as we get a little extra cash I want to buy more to see if it will help me get back on track with my weight. For now I will have to just keep walking, and exercising.

When it came to my turkey I was worried not only about cooking it but marinating it in the Kikkoman soy sauce recipe that they gave me. The recipe was easy enough to follow to prepare the turkey but the cooking time got me. I cooked my turkey by following the directions that were on the turkey since I have only cooked one turkey before this. I thought it would be a good thing to do. So while my turkey was cooking I moved onto the other recipes. I made the Panko crusted mashed potato cakes. They were so good that they didn’t even make it to the table. Everyone ate them as I made them. After yelling at everyone I moved onto the green bean casserole which was easy to make and put it aside so when my turkey was done I could put it in the oven with the other sides I had.

When it time came to take the turkey out and put the sides in I told the little one to help hubby set the table because we would be eating soon. I also didn’t want anyone to see my turkey because just by looking at it I knew I dried it out. I should have cooked it for 3 to 4 hours instead of the 5 hours that they said. So I cut it up thinking noone would know because they were very hungry anyway. Sadly they did notice so I told them I would do better on Thanksgiving. I just needed to know if they liked the taste. We all liked the flavor of the turkey and we all also felt that it would have tasted even better if I didn’t dry it out. My guests and I would like to thank Kikkoman for the opportunity to try some new recipes and products making my normally plane dried out turkey taste good enough to eat. I’ve put the recipes at the bottom of the review just in case anyone wants to try them.

The products helped make this meal very tasty. We later tried a bit of Kikkoman Soy Sauce on some other food and it tasted great. I would recommend these products to anyone that asks about cooking tips.

We were sent a package with Kikkoman products to use in this pre-Thanksgiving dinner. Receiving these products had no influence on our review. Receiving the product had no influence on our opinions.
