Last month when my hubby hurt himself the pain caused him to pass out on me. It was very scary. In a panic I tried spraying him down with a hose. Later that day I made him go to the ER to make sure that all was ok. They did an ekg on him to make sure that his heart was ok. Most people believe he has no heart, but I know he does. Well when he found out that it was an ecg not an ekg he told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I told him that it’s practically the same thing. (A test they do to make sure your heart is working fine.) Trying to be sweet in his own way he said that he could have saved them the time, and us the money because he knew that his heart was ok because I haven’t broke it yet.

He seemed to enjoy himself at the hospital. He was joking around with the nurses, and the doctors. They even picked on him for the stated pain that he said he had. It looked like a small hole in his wrist, but I now know that it must have hurt because it made him pass out. This I know because he doesn’t just pass out for no reason.

Am I wrong, or are they both almost identical?

A good friend of ours has recently found out that he has some heart problems. This is the same friend that also works for an ambulance company, and volunteer for the first aid squad in our town. The doctor told him that he felt it would be in his best interest to quit smoking. The doctor explained about cholestrol being directly attributed to cigarettes. Not believing this he went home and did some research. After doing research he told us that the doctor was telling the truth. So he told us how he’s been trying to by using those types of fake cigarettes that you get online. Months ago we tried to get him to switch when we reviewed one of them. We told him how simple to use vapor cigarettes are meant to help you cut back and possibly even help you quit. I guess heart problems speak louder than a good friend. Who knows this news is not just a wakeup call for him but it is also one for us too.

Last summer I noticed a large mole on the back of hubbys neck. Now this worried me because the back of his neck always gets a lot of sun. So I told him how worried I was about mesothelioma cancer and I wanted him to have a doctor look at it. After about little over a month of me nagging him he said fine. He let me make an appointment to see the doctor. This is the same man that doesn’t see a doctor unless he is extremely sick. I couldn’t believe what he told the doctor when she asked why he came in. He said because my wife worries about every little thing. He then tried to tell her that he was fine. She told him that she wanted to see and make sure. After all that I’m happy to say that he was right. He was fine but she also told him that there’s nothing wrong in caring and wanting to make sure that he was fine. She also told me many of the warning signs to look for to help set my mind at ease.

As I get closer to the age of 40 I find myself getting worried about getting old. I want to more to make sure that I don’t look really old. One of the things I worry about is wrinkles, and getting rid of them without painful or high cost Botox injections. I saw an ad for a wrinkle serum that claims that it has powerful anti aging ingredients. I went down the page to read about what the prototype 37-c reviews say, and everyone had lots of good things to say about how it works. The one thing that I couldn’t find anywhere was its price. I guess that true beauty has no price. If the price was there then this means that I have something new to worry about because I don’t look good in glasses.

Last Friday I had to take our little one to the doctors because she had these red blotches all over her body. The nurse at her school said that they were flea bites. That night we washed the cats, and cleaned the rugs, but found nothing to conincide with this diagnosis. I was worried that it might have been an allergic reaction to an acne treatment wash that I got her a few days ago. The doctor was very good about getting her in early to see her. When he looked at her all he could say was that they were some kind of bug bites. Now I told him about the cats, and how I found nothing on them. He said that they do look like flea bites, and that she could have gotten them from anywhere. With that he gave me two creams. One for itching, and one to heal it. For the most part it started going away when she was home from school last weekend. Since she went back this week she is still getting new bites on, and off in new spots. I told hubby that if this keeps up I think we will need a new doctor. It will be one that knows what this kid has.

I was looking on the internet to find natural ways to treat acne. Since I’ve been dieting it seems like I breakout from time to time. I was surprised when I found that they had a pill out called accutane that helps with acne. My acne problem is not so bad that I need to take something like this, but I do remember when I was growing up that one of my friends had bad acne, and would always need to see a dermatologist. She would tell me how lucky I was, and how she had to get shots for her acne, and how it really hurt. I bet she would have loved to have a pill instead of a shot. I wonder what they did in the real old days because when you look at those photos they always had nice skin.

Do you think they took photos of people if they had bad skin, or was acne a very small problem back then?

My sister in-law has a bad problem with allergies, and she sees her doctor. It seems like an all the time thing. I know this because I’m the one that has to take her there all the time because she doesn’t drive. I told her maybe she needs a new doctor because she goes all the time, and still has the same problems with her allergies. She feels it helps her so I keep my mouth shut, after all I’m just the driver, and not the doctor. I did find it very weird when he told her that she should look into some kind of allergy bedding. I don’t understand how that will help, but like I said it’s her doctor, and not mine. She feels seeing him really has helped her with her allergies. I feel some doctors just milk you a long to get more money. Doctors seem to need to keep you coming back no matter how small the issue is, and they always need that “CheckUp”, or “FollowUp.”
