My sister in-law has a bad problem with allergies, and she sees her doctor.  It seems like an all the time thing.  I know this because I’m the one that has to take her there all the time because she doesn’t drive.  I told her maybe she needs a new doctor because she goes all the time, and still has the same problems with her allergies.  She feels it helps her so I keep my mouth shut, after all I’m just the driver, and not the doctor.  I did find it very weird when he told her that she should look into some kind of allergy bedding.  I don’t understand how that will help, but like I said it’s her doctor, and not mine.  She feels seeing him really has helped her with her allergies.  I feel some doctors just milk you a long to get more money.  Doctors seem to need to keep you coming back no matter how small the issue is, and they always need that “CheckUp”, or “FollowUp.”

If your sister has dust allergies, she should consider specific matteress covers that help reduce dust allergies and should wash bedding in hot water weekly.

Have they used her for a human pincushion yet to figure out what her allergies are? Was there some concern about her lung function? (someties if you have bad allergies that ar from exposure to things like dust mites, pollen or even grass it affects your lungs)

Ann is correct dust mites can be really problematic for people who have allergies. I know that they recommended specific pillows for our house too

Additionally, my husband’s allergist said that RUGS generally can be great places for dust mites so regular flooring instead of carpeting is recommended.

Anyway I hope your sister in law starts to feel better.
